Today, Barton Cromeens spoke about the Abilene Reporter News. Joe Alcorta's outstanding summary of each of our meetings appears on our club website. Thanks, Joe.

NEXT WEEK: NO MEETING NEXT WEEK, MARCH 21 (Good Friday). And there will be no Rotater next week.

Program for March 28: We will hear about ABILENE YOUTH SPORTS.

BUSINESS EXPO will be on Wednesday, March 26 and our club will have a booth where we will be giving out information about our Rotary Club. David Stubbeman has about 10 tickets to Business Expo, so if you need a ticket, call David at 698-1756.

TASTE OF ABILENE!!! April 8. Come out and enjoy a sample from ANY OR ALL of the following restaurants. JAY HOBBS and his committee have done a great job getting sponsors and preparing for our MAJOR FUND-RAISER.

The following members of the Abilene Restaurant Association will have booths at Taste of Abilene:

Each member of our club has received 6 tickets at $30.00 apiece and you are asked either to sell them or use them for family and friends (and for yourself if you are not otherwise helping with this fund-raiser). If you need more tickets, let Julie Hofmann or Jennifer Kent know.

Be sure and welcome our newest member, KELLY THOMPSON, who works for Taylor Electric Cooperative.

We are looking for ONE OR TWO high school juniors or sophomores who our club can sponsor at ROTARY CAMP RYLA in June at Texas Woman's University. Tell Kent Brown or David Stubbeman if you know of someone our club can sponsor.

MIKE WEBER will be selling Rotary Club T-shirts. We need to wear these to the Taste of Abilene.

Art Buchwald said, "Don't commit suicide, because you might change your mind two weeks later."

ROTARIAN OF THE WEEK: SONDRA CLARK. Sondra works for First Abilene Federal Credit Union on Catclaw Drive. She joined our club last October.

MAKE-UPS: Peter Agnell made up on line at Rotary Club E-One; Marty Pothier and Dick Burton made up at Southwest Rotary; and Jay Hobbs, Brad Wicker, Tom Boecking, Derral Reed, Bob Hunter, and Turner Cariker made up at Abilene Wednesday Rotary. The Abilene Wednesday Rotary Club WILL NOT MEET on March 19, due to Spring Break.
